Hospital Authority has been providing services to the public under a cluster-based structure. It currently manages 42 public hospitals and institutions, 48 specialist outpatient clinics and 73 general outpatient clinics. Queen Mary Hospital, Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Hong Kong children hospitals are some of the most famous public hospitals in Hong Kong.
Beside there are 12 Private Hospitals in Hong Kong.
Public market supply is organized through central tenders that run for 3 years with winner-takes-all scheme. Winning this central tender will gives us 100% of the market share in Public Hospitals (which are equivalent to 90% of the Hospital Market). Private Sector relies mostly on originators/branded products for their supplies.
If the tender is awarded to us, then the supply is guaranteed for 3 years and you will get 100% of the market share of HK public hospitals at once.
You will not face any supply planning issues since quantities requested by Hospital Authority have underlying commitment.
If we are not awarded, no sales could be made in Hong Kong for the next 3 years.

Macau is a small territory with an independent health authority. They rely mainly on China or Hong Kong for medical supplies. A product registered in Hong Kong will be allowed to be commercialized in Macau and attending tenders without applying for a local marketing authorization. There is 1 major Public Hospital (Hospital Conde S. Januário) and one major Private Hospital (Kiang Wu Hospital).
